To build a sustainable future, we focus on three core pillars
AI Materials Intelligence: Inverse design of complex materials via LLMs, MLIPs, and diffusion-based Generative AI.
Next-Gen Energy & Environmental Materials: Overcoming performance bottlenecks in all-solid-state batteries, electrocatalysts, and chemiresistive sensors.
Multifunctional Composites: Discovering atomic-level synergistic properties in multi-dimensional architectures.

We are recruiting graduate students (MS/PhD) and undergraduate students.
MAIS Lab welcomes motivated students interested in
(1) AI-driven materials discovery, machine learning, large language models (like ChatGPT, Claude)
(2) Computational simulation (density functional theory, molecular dynamics)
(3) All-solid-state batteries, sensors, electrocatalysts, semiconductors, and multifunctional composites.
Coding experience is not required. If you are sincere, responsible, and willing to communicate, you can learn coding, simulations, and AI tools step by step in our lab.
